Exactly, we know it works, we know these guys can nail it, and everyone knows where going to do it...

So, why would we not keep some of our powder dry until the business end of the season. Where here to win premierships, not bragging rights in March.

Yep. Seems I was right when I expected us to start cycling through the kickers in order to be more effective. That seems to have happened already.

Also guessed that we'd slowly ease in to the new attacking structure. Defence is what's being worked on for now. The attack will come later.

Always love your posts bro, but razzle dazzle are we talking about? The Broncs have nothing at all in attack this season, it is Dragons of last year like.

I guess what i mean is too many times inside the 30, we seem to be trying to make things up impromptu, which is great when your fresher than your opponents and your spine is trying to goad the defence into a mistake. But, seriously, when after 3 or more sets against us in defence and we get a break from a penalty/mistake, our number 1 priority should be possession and field position, not cražy offloads by forwards or 5th tackle all or nothing attacks at the corner posts. Patience is something we've lost since lockyer. We need to understand you score points through your opponents mistakes and thats bloody hard to get them to do if youre the ones sweating on repeat sets and defending your try line for wave after wave.

That's another thing that baffles me. When we got Milford, we were all salivating at the thought of him supporting players through the ruck. And he did just that a lot in 2015. But not since. I don't get it.

I hope you're right about this. Wayne always aims for solid defense first. He always has said defense wins games, but we have really lost all direction in attack. The spine has been there for a while now...

I will also add that their defense isn't that good if they are constantly giving away repeat sets, penalties and meters down the field.

That's what made Milf so dangerous was his support play. At the moment he is just parked on one side of the field and teams are marking him too easily and he has become way too predictable. At least when he pops up all over the place, it's harder to read him, thus effectively giving him more freedom.

If this is all part of our new, wiz bang attacking structure, **** that JD bloke outta here.......

To be fair, we're hardly prolific offloaders. And when a forward does get one away, Milford and Hunt are almost always there in support, it's just that the defence is rarely scattered and disorganised.

This year it seems Darius is always in support for offloads and he has no idea what to do with it.

I've been pretty disappointed in Darius' offence to be honest. His play down the right has been great but the left sweep is nonexistent this year and he is doing a lot of stuttering around when he gets it from offloads.

It's non existent because nearly every time it goes to the left Milford dummies and steps back to his right and gets tackled. He even loses the ball most the time. There has not been a single attempt at the sweep play because it doesn't get past Milford

Yeah you're right here but you can't really say that and then go on to blame our terrible offense on poor coaching. The ball is dying with Milford because he's being selfish and/or dropping everything that comes his way.

Most of Milfords plays come from speed, Now he has no speed he is basically ineffective as a ball runner. Sure he still can step but nothing will eventuate from it. Looking back through 2015 highlights of him makes me so pissed,He was so electric

Milford hasn't been able to show his speed because whenever there's a gap in front of him he has to side step 12 times before attempting to straighten up.

You sure that isn't Darius running it from dummy half? He does it pretty much on every fourth tackle. It's part of the Bennett ball game plan
