Sack him for who?

Who is this coach everyone wants to mysteriously make suddenly appear out of thin air?

Walters? Has the QLD gig and we burned that bridge. Besides that, he hasn’t shown a coaching ability that would improve things. Bringing him in just to get a few people on back on board is idiotic.

Who else is there?

I’ll give it a crack. I won’t do a good job but I can guarantee you I won’t do worse.

He makes a good point. Let’s stick with Seibold then.

If they were interested, i would be interviewing matt elliot, toovey, brown, adrian lam, fitzgibbon and the care taker coach that takes the remainder of the year (here is hoping). Shit i would even take griffin, neil henry or kearney above seibold. Walters wouldnt offer his services again to the current board even if he was wanted.

There may be other super league or isc coaches that could be a better option that i am not aware of. Anyone with a gameplan and bench strategy that does not result in us being men short at the end of the game. Seibold and his staff just looked clueless and at a loss up in the box. Not one of them was speaking.

If Boyd was somehow promoted straight to coach, that means he can't play anymore too, right?

Calling for the likes of Elliott, Griffin, Henry and Kearney.

You obviously want things to be worse than what they are now. Which they would be under them.

Craig Bellamy. Our actual first choice.

the current Wigan coach has some runs on the boards apparently.....his name eludes me right now...

Hand to heart, who doesn’t think the seibild signing was a mistake?
Even if you don’t think Wayne was the answer, is firing him and signing seibold the right move?

I have been very diplomatic the whole time. Wayne is one of my biggest idols of all time but I could see some need to move him on. If it weren’t for the whacky contracts being handed out during his coaching (whether or not that was his call), I would’ve said another mediocre year under Wayne then transition to JD. However when Wayne was pushed out and the news was we signed Seibold I was carefully optimistic. I liked the way he spoke about the game.

in hindsight, Seibold was obviously a mistake.

I am not calling for them they would not be on my go to list, i was saying that in my opinion, even they would provide better guidance to this team than seibold

Even a poor plan or structure is better than none.

I am not even saying the ones we should interview (are great coaches but may get better results than record losses and 5 straight losses

Are you sure about that? Kearney has a better record this year. To be absolutely clear I don't particularly want any of the coaches you mention but Porky Pies is so bad this year the Warriors are doing better with a worse squad which has had a poor culture for years, maybe decades. Fatso has us on the express lift heading straight down. I'm not sure anybody could do a worse job at this point.

His recruitment so far has been to rely on blokes he knows from other clubs that he coached. Its not good enough.
Don't forget moving on an Isaac Moses coached player to another Isaac Moses coached team. Or loaning our only backup hooker to a different Isaac Moses coached team so we could rely on a young half who's got **** all ISC under his belt to play a starting NRL role.

Poor guy. I just watched the press conference. Looked like he was about to start crying. I shouldn't feel sorry for him but I do a little. He had a chance, screwed it up so that is that. For this year and the next 3, he is going to get paid much more than the average worker.

If the rotten, obsolete capitalist system lasts another 3.5 years.
