With the salary cap cloud still hanging over our heads a lazy $100 wouldnt be a bad bet until we find out whats going on. If its worse then what its been made out to be we could well win the spoon by default.

If we didnt have the salary cap scandal then I'd say we would be paying a lot more then $67.

After the Storm scandal, I'm pretty sure most betting agencies now class the wooden spoon as "least wins", rather than last place.

If that's the case, you'd just be wasting your money. Especially while the Dragons are in the comp.

I doubt we'll win the wooden spoon but this Raiders game is crucial. We haven't played well there the last few years. It's time to send a message that we are fair dinkum about making a dent in this competition. Getting the two points against a team that we've struggled against in tough conditions will be a big step in the right direction.
