ANZAC TEST

Not sure why people are surprised.

Mal made it clear the players from the Four Nations would get first crack for this game partly because of the short amount of training sessions.

The World Cup is when it will change.

Enjoying the thought of NSW picking Dugan and Fergie over blokes like BJ, Roberts, Croker, Bird, Turbo, and Hayne. You can throw in Woods (AKA the quintessential stat merchant. If the D is fast you can bet your bottom dollar that he'll shift into a 'play maker' role and pass it to some poor bugger who subsequently gets smashed) and Merrin into that list over the likes of Fatfita (who'll probs come off the bench, but should be starting), JDB, Wade Graham, Jake Turbo, Vaughn, James.

Papalii has been dropped from the Australia team.

Shannon Boyd will be replacing him.

Papalli dropped for his drink driving charge in January.

Shannon Boyd to the bench

**** yes, these are the sort of teams we've been wanting for years.

They're both really handy teams. Wouldn't mind watching that game.

Tonga vs Samoa are always fiery encounters. I love watching them play.

I remember the game between those two in the 2008 WC. One of the games of the tournament.

PSA: They aren't playing each other, they just released their squads at the same time.

It's Samoa vs England and Tonga vs Fiji

Sure are. What they lose in superstar power to the top tier nations they gain in pride and heart.

Woods likely out and Boyd played 25 minute last night due to an ankle injury. Getting very light on for props. Coupled with Papalli's omission we may be in for a tough night in the middle.

Fifita called into the squad for Woods
