Ashes Discussion

the other school of thought is that you force their bowlers back into the field to continue putting overs into the legs of an already over-worked bowling lineup, while zapping whatever remaining confidence they have left.

the important thing is to declare with enough time to bowl them out. I suspect a declaration with come about an hour (maybe 90mins) before the lights come on.
Yeah,
I can see the reasoning behind that.
However if you have them in the ropes smash them while you can... you might not get another chance.
Australian international teams have gone soft! We seam(pun intended) like a weak nation now, but not back in the day we were feared! If they gave us a inch we took a mile!

back in the day we had about 8 once in a generation players in the same team

Agree, he's been good.

If we find an opener to partner Warner suddenly we've got a formidable batting line up

Let's hope Pucs can stop finding new ways to knock himself out or one of Hunt, Street or Ward come good. Also, Warner is old now, he's almost done sadly.

Losing wickets now but have no problem with it given they have finally stepped up the pace.

Not sure what I like more. Watching the Poms getting thrashed or the Heat getting belted up as per usual. BBL it is for the next couple hours, I guess.

Well...pending review, it has literally cost two balls, that looks pretty out.
