Better effort in the second half but doesn't mean much given the first does it? That was poor from Hunt, not that many other were that much better either, Sammy was our best in that one.

I know it's only a trial game, but jesus, has Hunt got worse? He looks far more clueless than what he did when he first took over the Halfback role.. god I hope it's only this format that's making him look this awful.

Yeah, I noticed that. Teams generally move the ball around - with the added empty space, that gives you more metres than just hit ups. But we are still going with the Griffindor attack most of the time.

I have a feeling Barba is going into the halves after that performance. He was solid from the back but not enough to overcome the phantom of our halves crisis.

I'm not going to judge him by this format, but it does balance out the calls of him playing for QLD and Australia last year.

Why was Gillett grubbering to himself so much? That was ridiculous. First rule is to get your opponent starting their set from the other side of the field.

He was being just flat out dumb. He got himself into a position where he was surrounding by 4 Roosters, left himself no way out then chanced a grubber kick which was going nowhere.

Wait and see how he goes in a real trial first, they have been largely using him on the wing in the nines, not really as a fullback in attack so its hard to evaluate where he stands.

We need a coach who can actually coach some attacking football. We can sign all the players we like but what use is it if we have a coach who has no clue what he is doing

We had three backs touch the ball four times between them. No other back touched he ball. I think that we aren't taking this seriously but rather trying to try out combinations (forwards). Either that or hunt is a retard that didn't once throw the ball wide.

I'm a bit angry at the loss at the moment, but seriously, **** off Anthony griffin. Who the **** was our 5/8 in that game...stagg?! Get nikorima on FFS!! He killed it for the short time he was on in game 1. Hoffman, quiet. Barba, quiet. Thaiday and Macca best on ground in my opinion. Hunt struggled with execution out there. Has strasser even played yet? **** you griffin!

why did gillett end up in situations like that. where was hunt? shouldnt he be calling the shots?

we just looked DUMB out there.

i dunno if barba is injured but him sitting out on the wing makes no sense to me.

jeez even corey norman is looking better than what we put on out there.
