So who else is hoping we go alright in the first test so they have something to watch on Sunday afternoon?

Don't care. Indian cricket is corrupt so we'll lose regardless.

Besides, 3 grades of grand final on Sunday. Woohoo!

Good to see Marcus North chipping in with another superb duck.

Don't worry he will be there come ashes times standing at first slip dropping easy catches and always getting out when we really need runs. Meanwhile Ferguson, Smith and Hughes are let rot in the State comp. [icon_thumbs_do

Surely he has to go ?!?

His position must have been in doubt after his performances in the last test series.

There must be a better option floating around out there somewhere ???

Yup, Hussey and North will be ordinary for 99% of the series, but will both make 1 decent score which will keep them in the side.

Norths decent score being in a practice match or once we are 4/500 odd.

North is shit and must go. Good to see sunshine get through 90's and make a ton.

Seriously tho how many times is Ponting going to run himself out when he's going good [eusa_doh

Wow, when Rahul Dravid strikes them at 75, you know your bowlers are shit.

Yeah bowlers couldn't get the length right, Lucky Johnson can take wickets.

Well the teacher's pet took Sachin's wicket, most likely earning him a Test spot till at least Australia's next tour of England.

Well bowled by Mitch at the end of the day.

Had to laugh how Flemo was comparing North's bowling to Mark Waugh's.

Just wish Ponting would trust Hauritz to bowl over North. Good thing Steve Smith is young.

Who would you guys have Paine or Haddin? Im going Paine as Haddin throws his wicket away too much

Paine. He also seems a more accomplished keeper too. Haddin lets through far too many byes and lets too many chances slip.

And as you say, he gives his wicket away too cheaply.

Paine dropped a catch and missed an easy stumping but he is a more accomplished keeper.. [eusa_doh

Haddin lets in more byes than any other keeper I've ever seen play for Australia. He can take a screamer, and drop a sitter.

Can't stand him, he's useless.

and just when we are looking good we lose 3 wickets quickly.

FMD can we ever play 2 decent sessions in a row

I agree but Paine is not much better if better at all. Hartley is the best keeper in Australia by a million miles... The bloke from Victoria Matthew Wade is a better than both Haddin and Paine.
