Didn't think it was that bad of a hit, wasn't high, on the chest and bill was up and about after he got the penalty, I thought report was a bit much personally - but then I'm always wearing my anti-purple tinted glasses
Hows about Lockyer - sensational, Sambo and Civis -tops
I also thought Luke Lewis was a bit of liability in defence, IIRC one their tries involved him failing - and its not just that he's a blue, but on that point, why is Gallen even in this side? He's such a weak link penalty sinkhole - seriously, there are a million better locks them him, you feel for Cronulla, I thought he really stood out last night as out of place among a heap of quality players
The Rock said:Wasn't even a good hit. Matai always comes in with a late hit and people say "whoa Matai". He got Slater when he wasn't bracing himself and his momentum was still going. Cooper Cronk could have done that on Civoniceva FFS if he wasn't bracing himself.
LOLZ at Matai always limping. Never seen a player limp so much in my whole entire life. EVERY game without fail.

Weather did not help but it was a bit of a snooze attack IMO.
What game were you watching? The attack was brilliant for the weather and both defensive lines were stretched to the limit at times, but obviously both sides were well drilled in defence as well and so the defence usually held out. This makes for a great game IMO more than a blazing try-fest.
