Eeer did Bumrah have a warm up game ?
Don`t remember Kohli playing any warm ups either . Jaiswal ?
They came out here after getting pantsed by the Kiwis .
This not prepared meme ? You reckon the skipper who is 30 + years of age didn`t know how to prepare for a game / series ?
Bit like people saying they needed fielding practice during the world cup .
Interesting stat from the last test . No players in the team in their 20s . That`s a truck load of experience .
Conditions favoured India during the Indian 2 innings in Perth. They took advantage .
Shit happens . Doesn`t mean the team was arrogant , too comfortable or under prepared . That was the opinion of a guy paid to stir shit .
Like I said yesterday where is Micheal Vaugh and his sage knowledge now ?
Doesn't that sort of answer your own question? India finished three Tests against New Zealand on the 3/11 and played the first Test here on the 22/11.
Australia played ODI and 20/20 from the 4/11 to the 18/11. Cummins said I am not picking up a ball for 8 weeks and I am going to Cold Play. I think the questions coming into the series were valid.
Vaughn was 100% right to ask the question.
“I think the debate over the next week or two going into the second and third Test matches will be: Are Australia short of a gallop and they needed this game to get back into Test match cricket mode? Or are they a team that’s just starting to get over the edge?” Vaughan added.
He also questioned India's prep for the series.
“I can’t get my head around a team like India only wanting to play an intra-squad game leading into a series against Australia in their own backyard,” Vaughan told Fox Cricket.
“I just can’t see how you get yourself in that competitive mindset of consequence by playing an intra-squad game. Time will tell.
“I’m surprised that this Indian side didn’t want at least one game of cricket, and the WACA’s the perfect venue because it’s a similar pitch to Optus (Stadium), so you get used to the bounce.”
India turned down a game against a State side and were happy with their prep- which would have been looking pretty right after Perth. The two tours before they played Cricket Australia 11 and Australia A.
Both preparations were not traditional, and questions were valid.
