What a great debut from Webster... pretty much top scored in both innings... can't ask for much more from a debutant.

His batting looked so good as well ... I'd almost have him as a mainstay in the batting lineup somewhere after this debut.

He's also got gears that he can go up to based on his Big Bash career.

I think bowling Siraj for so long cost India in that second innings... he was going for almost 6 rpo... left him on for way too long in such a short run chase and wasn't really troubling the batters.

Webster has to be a mainstay moving forward, he is a big key to managing the upcoming transition.

Could not have asked for more from the debutant. Nice to see Mitch Marsh celebrating too because his test career is now done.

Yeah but you know, India and commentators, they need to be appeased.

I’d actually give man of the series to Boland too even with three tests. He also had some important batting partnerships.

54 wickets at 18 for Boland now. Starc should never play the 5th test or an SCG test again, surely that's sunk in by now. Boland plays the MCG and SCG at the absolute minimum in the Ashes.
