He's been doing it all series and even back to the NZ test series when they set leg side fields and he popped pull shots to the fielder for catching practice.

There's a level of it being muscle memory and reactions taking over, but also need to have the concentration of how they're trying to get you out and where runs can come from

I think you'd find he contributes a lot more than you'd think. You want him to get some runs or he should go? He's not selected to get big scores.
