I'm so stoked for Glenn.

So disappointed with the Aus team though. I should be used to that by now though.

No Nate Myles? surely Myles has been playing far better than Gallen.

Lyon over Jennings, Tonga or Folau is a joke... i also don't for 1 second believe that Folau was omitted because of form, he was left out because the selectors think that he is leaving the code pure and simple.

Congrats to big Sammy Thaiday, Lockyer and Alex Glenn who all got selected for their respective countries.

I'd be dirty if I was Jennings for sure.

NZ will flog them anyway.

Jennings can't even get picked as a centre in the city vs country game.

Gidley, lol.

Look, he's a good player and crucial for Newcastle, but how he continues to get rep jumpers after his past efforts is a bit beyond me. The whole "but he can cover so many positions" thing is wearing thin IMO.

Gallen and Lyon are my other dodgy ones.

Congrats to Glenn as well.

I dont like Lyon, but the reason I think he made the team was he can goal kick.

I know Smith is there but he is/has been average at the best of times and its quite likely it could come down to goal kicks for the result. The whole specialist arguement doesnt wash because what is Hayne doing in the team on the wing then?

Its a bit stiff on Hindmarsh but Gallen has been great for Cronulla in a rubbish team.....if I was to be questioning anyone it would be Watmough. Hes done buggery all year....same with Glenn Stewart.

What's Jennings done this season? Seriously, have you even watched the Panthers? He's been playing like a busted ass.

Lyon has been awesome out at right centre, which is his natural position on the field. Tonga has had his moments, and has been running well off of Thurston, but Lyon is the essentially the sole reason for the Sea Eagle's performance this season. Folau is yet to prove he has what it takes to make it in the centres at rep. level, although he should definitely be there before Morris.

Good point, must be the selectors with their "..take the boy out of Qld..." approach to selecting the Aus team, really only a New South Welshman could want Gallen representing the nation as a whole

As he should.

Stewart is easily a much more valuable player than Hindmarsh.

I don't mean to sound rude, but have any of you guys watched an NRL game outside of the Broncos this year?

I was going to ask you the same question!! I'd pick Hindmarsh in my team over Glenn Stewart every day of the week

I do think there is more to form when it comes to Jamie Lyon, considering how vocal he has been about rep football in the past, I think people can be forgiven for being surprised at him being selected
