This instagram post from Davie hasn't aged too well lol.
(It was just friendly banter, he's good friends with Burns.)

Which is exactly where I think it will end up.
Big stick approach, appease the public furor, dust settles, appeal sees a reduced punishment down to 6 months.
If this ends up in court it will cause irreparable damage to their image (what’s left of it)... manning up, copping it on the chin and putting in the hard yards is what they should do.
Go to England and get used to conditions in time for an 800 run series each in the ashes
Is challenging your boss and arguing really a smart move when you want to be re-employed?
That would depend on if you feel hard done by and I think they do.
Also, if they feel they have not defended themselves adequately and feel the possibility of reducing the ban is real .
That is something they will decide once they are back home and can properly take stock.
The deteriorating behaviour has happened under this boards watch so they have gone from doing nothing and leaving it up
to others to sledge hammer.
What can come of it- reduced ban? More players get banned? But still Australian Cricket have the ultimate say and don't have to pick you.
It's like courts saying you can't not pick the SL players- Well we can watch us. Alf just isn't good enough.
You're going to fight to be in a team that doesn't want you and doesn't have to pick you. Creating more angst and tarnishing your image further.

It won't be court, it will be an appeal.
They can't play County Cricket.
They're going to have to try and get picked for the WC and Ashes on club form. Suspension will end in March. Ashes and WC are starting May.
Going to be very hard to make those tours even with your punishment over.
But can CA ban them from English cricket? No domestic or international cricket only club cricket
Yes, they can’t play IPL either.
I'd read something the other day that, they would basically need a clearance from CA to play IPL, irrelevant now as IPL ditched them bothThe article I read said CA can't do shit, and it's up to the other bodies to ban or not ban. IPL banned them on top.
