My issue with a lot of highlight reels is that the type of player that tends to get highlight reels are also the type of player that can make some awful decisions. My worry is the broncos/seibold pick/stick purely on talent rather then the hardest worker out of the 3. They all sound like they have the talent, its the dedication and hard work that turns them into champions. Hopefully we have learned our lesson(s) from the last few missed opportunities/future immortals!

And I get people are excited about the prospects but people saying we should squeeze all 3 into our spine haha... based on what? A highlights package of schoolboy footy? Check out milfords highlights package against grown men at the top level. In fact, even nikorima and boyd would have greater highlight packages when you factor in that it was at the top level they did it. Let the cream of the crop rise to the top out of the 3 young guns. The chances of all 3 making it to the top at nrl level are about 1/1000 when you think about all the past “young super talents” that have failed.

On another kind of related note, about time we hog all the talented youngsters in all positions. **** the other clubs and the nrl. Have all the best talent then only the best come out on top. We are constantly pulled back by the nrl for any other advantages we have for being the biggest and richest club simply due to there being too many shitty ran sydney clubs, lets just flood the talent pool and hoard all of them in our squad.

If Nikorima doesn’t perform throw Tanah a bone... don’t burn him out and play him all season but it will keep nikorima on his toes this year. Boyd to take the number 7 and make it his own in 2020. Nikorima back to the explosive 14 (similar to Cook Seibold would froth).

I think I agree. A brilliant highlight reel would be one where a halfback seldom scored but featured prominently.

Cooper Cronk actually has quite a few exciting highlight reels, especially during his Melbourne days.

JT definitely does, he was more of a ball runner than Cronk, at least before his body caught up with him. But my point stands. People like Milford and SJ have amazing highlight reels. But it isn't what we need.

The two most impressive things were when he made his debut for Souths it was under age and at fullback for Allen against CQ away and he did a great job. Slotted in and Dennis and Archer raved about how mature and easy he was to have in the side. He took some responsibility and scored a nice try down the left and kicked when he could.
