Battle of the Broncos' Buys

No matter how bad our buys may have been and may be in the future, I can confidently say we'll never have as bad a buy as Garrick Morgan for the Crushers in 1995. [icon_lol1.

What was he like? Your meat and spuds front row who'd make a consistent amount of hit ups and tackles per game?

So basically Darren Mapp when he decided to show up?

Yeh not many frills about him, but was really handy off the bench, keeping our forward momentum going when the starting front rowers came off.

Tough, I'll go with Casey - he was a consistent member of the Broncos squad for four seasons (2003-06) and at times didn't get the credit he deserved - I always thought he had one good play in him. Did everything asked of him and rarely let his team mates down.

If Te'o keeps his 2010 form going he'd be challenging the likes of Tallis, but at this stage you'd have to go with Casey.

New Parramatta player McGuire winning that one quite easily in the end.

Next battle:

Kevin Campion v Luke Priddis

Have to go with Priddis, he played a big part in that 2000 run. Campion was a damn good player who the Broncos got the best out of, but Priddis was just such a talent and easily one of the best hookers to ever wear the Broncos jersey.
