Boyd was indeed a loss but imagine they thought they would have kept Hunt and Boyd would have turned into an overpriced winger etc.

The fact that admin were so confident in keeping Hunt was their downfall. One of the most peculiar predictions they have made... they were obviously very confident...

Of course he's not better than Hunt! Hunt runs straight back into the defence at 100 miles an hour and has a much better ball playing game, as shown by his efforts on the 2nd man play with Lockyer. Slater throws the ball over the sideline or runs into touch himself in a World Cup Final!!!!

Well actually reiterating that... I do admit Slater is godlike these days but I'm still a big Hunt fan. Towards the end he didn't want to tackle for some reason but he really had a pearler of a season in 08 IMO. He's one of those GEN Y players who I thought used his brain than his athletic ability to shine... a rare case from the GEN Y player pool IMO.

I meant a rare case from the GEN Y pool in terms of the way he played football NOT his personality. Clearly as Hunt got older you could tell he was very much indeed GEN Y.

But for a GEN Y player he is the only one I can think of from the top of my head who uses his footy brain rather than his athletic ability to play.
