I've been following "The Barons" tips which you get when you join up to one of the sites.....fucker can't tip shit lol. Have never placed a bet on something he's recommended and I doubt I ever will.

I sometimes think The Baron tips losers on purpose to get people to back them with their site! I've seen his cycling tips and he's always tipping the horribly underpriced favourite. Speaking of which, specs for tonights stage include Tom Jelte Slatger ($40), Arthor Vichot ($67) and Tony Martin ($126).

Still think we're due a golden point game soon and have taken this in the Sharkies v Knights game. Best price $26.

I'll keep a better eye on your tips from now on, I just glossed over it unfortunately. Had I realised what it was I would have thrown a considerable amount ($3) on each. Well done

I've already had a number of juicy wins on the Tour this year so I suspect my luck has now run dry. However, only yesterday did I bet with the TAB. Call me sentimental but winning feels a little more sweeter when you stick your ticket in the machine and they hand over a stack of pineapples!

As for tonight's stage, I believe my man Alberto Contador is likely to win. $2.50 a short price but a very worthy favourite. Still, hard to make a lot of money on that. Not hugely confident that the long shots can win today but two that might at decent odds are Christophe Riblon ($41) and Daniel Navarro Garcia ($81). The latter is actually my favoured bet and I rate a better chance despite the longer odds.

I'll throw a lazy $10 on Alberto and a sneaky couple of bucks on the other 2, although I'll likely just back them for top 3. Still good odds.
