Well Neil shot +7 so need to worry. Unfortunately Stenson was absolute rubbish too and now has a long road ahead of him.

Demare just sprinted to 3rd. Didn't pack the sprint he showed in an earlier stage which frustrates because if he did he would have won IMO. Still, we'll get paid the place at odds of $21 so not horrible.

It's just a passion for the most part but I do take the Tour de France very seriously. I generally have a sizable edge in it and were it a 52 week long event, or if cycling had liquidity outside of it, maybe it could be more in depth, but alas, neither of those things are going to happen.

You'll tend to find I'm very streaky. I had a $340 winner back in February and literally duck eggs ever since then until the Tour starter. I'll look like a genius 5 weeks out of the year and a mug the other 47!



Tournament ends early Monday our time. I've actually saved on Adam Scott myself. Hard to split he and Henrik but only want to back one guy at odds <$20 and for mine Stenson had more appeal.

Honestly, I wouldn't expect Tiger to be there at all. He's played like 2 competitive rounds of golf in as many months.

Watch out too for the young amateur Bradley Neil. I've had a small bit of him for 1st Round leader (e/w @ $501) and Top 20 overall ($34). You normally want to stay well away from amateurs against the pros but the Open has a bit of a history with amateurs doing well. Tom Lewis as an amateur led in the first round a few years ago and in the past 9 Opens, 4 times an amateur finished in the Top 20. Neil is by far and away the most talented amateur and plays links courses all year long, so will have some sort of an advantage to negate the fact he's not played at this level before.

Maybe you should move to Japan and follow the KEIRIN RACING. Heard there is millions bet! The japs sure do love a gamble!

Maybe you should move to Japan and follow the KEIRIN RACING. Heard there is millions bet! The japs sure do love a gamble!

I'm afraid I'm hopeless with racing. Don't understand it at all and never really bet with any sense I knew what I was doing. Best success I had was picking the one with the best mudder record on wet tracks. Hardly a long term edge though!

Onto tonight, and I'm a big fan of Daniel Navarro's chances. Can get him for around about $26 and I've upped my stakes a little bit. Other chances that I rate are Rafael Majka $65 and John Gadret $151. Wouldn't put anyone off backing Michael Rogers and have had a saver on him myself, but liked the value on his polish team-mate more.

Not sure if you've heard about Keiren Racing? Its pretty much like greyhounds or the gallops, but they bet on bike riders.

Oh! You mean the velodrome thing. I vaguely remember it from the Olympics!

Sadly it's only road race cycling I profit on. It's such a complex sport and one where if bookies aren't 100% on their game you can make a profit.

Yeah, if you do that it should it work. To be honest I very rarely take each way unless betting on an outside sprinter. I've only taken Roche on the nose but yeah, tick the box and it should be fine.

I reckon nows the time to start having a few bucks on a draw somewhere in the NRLs remaining games. Statistically it's become very likely as we haven't had one this year and that's pretty unusual.

I agree, been looking for it for a while now. However, we have had 1 this year - opening round Storm v Manly. However, when you consider we've had at least 6 in the last 4 years, we're definitely due. Given how many tight our games are I think we're good candidates. Titans v Eels next week looks a prime candidate.

Fair enough, they do pay after the 80 mins of regular time. I was just looking at the full time scores ! Good observation ! I'd forgotten that game. I can see at least a couple of average teams in match ups. The one you mentioned is one of them although I'm close to the worst tipster in league history. I did 200 the other night on the Broncos Warriors game...I was convinced they were specials before Griffin dropped three ! What do I know hey ?
