One of those iffy stages. A break might win but it may come back together for a sprint. If it's a sprint I like Degenkolb ($9) but as I often do am attracted to the value and potential of Arnaud Demare ($26). Not out of the question that a break takes it though and someone like Albasini, Keukeliere, Terpstra, Thomas, Voigt or Vanmarcke would be likely to try. Not really a great betting stage for tipping just 1 or 2 guys but if forced to do that I guess I'd go Degenkolb for the sprint and Terpstra for the break.
Sadly though the Tour is basically over for punting now. Tomorrow Tony Martin wins 90% of the time, but expect very short odds.

Worth noting that Sportingbet have a promo for tonight's NRL games. Back someone for first tryscorer and if they don't do that but score a try in the match you get your money back. It's a pretty good promo, especially in the Roosters game where most backs are a decent chance of scoring. I've opted for the SKDmark ($11) and have been a traitor and taken Slater ($11) in our game.

Ended up having knights 1-12 as i thought they could bounce back.......bronx 1-12 let me down. I normally stay away from broncos games as i have a terrible record.

What a **** of a day on the punt.....
I hope nobody lost out too big and had a couple of safe bets on.
I forgot to put some dollars on the Eels but I did on the Cows so I'm happy. Ended up breaking even after running the gauntlet and placing some last minute bets on races.

Last day of the tour today. It has without doubt been the most successful tour I've ever had, and thereby the best 3 weeks punting I've ever had! Shame that it's over but I'm sure my boss will be happy I won't be taking a sickie every 2nd day. Looking forward to getting some sleep again too.
Tonight, hopefully, Arnaud Demare will repay the faith I have in him. Kittel the most likely winner but for mine Demare has the most talent to beat him and the odds don't reflect this, so I'm all over the Frenchman. The outside bet is Tony Martin, who has the power to launch an attack and win, which sometimes (not frequently, but once every 6-7 years) succeeds on the Champs Elysee. Can get him at odds of about 150 and Demare 26+.

He's an absolute machine. Has amazing power which is why I am always tipping him to win stages where a breakaway effort could succeed as he has the ability to just time trial to victory. His nickname is the Panzerwagen, which literally translates to tank!

So the bad news overnight is that Hamilton's car caught fire in Qualifying and he's now starting dead last. However, the same thing happened last time and he finished 4th. It's rumoured to rain today in Hungary and if it does this could aid him. He's currently $21 to win now but would be very tempted to have something on.
