Realistically, I'll likely wait till race day to make a decision. Unless [MENTION=8463]MaroubraBroncos[/MENTION] comes through with a hot tip. I have a friend, former jokey who just got too big, that I call on the day. He's nailed it the 7 of the last 6. Green Moon was the one that he missed.

To the racing folk here, are there any horses who need to win the Lexus to get into the Melbourne Cup that offer good value for next Tuesday? I remember Maluckyday winning and going to Flemington with a light weight. Caravan Rolls On maybe?

I always look at the Geelong cup and the Lexus for form in to the cup. Caravan rolls on will be in for a shot though if Marksmanship pulls it off this weekend then that's your Maluckyday Ari.

I'll be having a dig on red Cadeaux as well, it's definitely due haha. 100% include in your multiples for sure, it has served me well over the years bumping up the tri.

Yeah if the rain sticks around tomorrow the track might just be that bogged up for him to sneak in, if not for a win then place looking good. Mate if he does get up, will be a different story for the cup but will be definitely throwing it in the multiples and will get a good price for a place, (990 for the win???, far out!)

So what's the final verdict for the Cup fellas? I'm thinking I'll just roll with Fawkner.

Onto things where I have more than 0% knowledge (but no more than 5%) I've plumped for Shane Watson to take MOTM in this first T20 on Wednesday. He's $11 with 365 which is more than value. Has about a 1/8 ratio for winning this and should really be able to take advantage of the short square boundaries. Has the added bonus of being able to win with his bowling too. He's normally the same odds when Warner is in the team so for mine this is a standout. Finch the obvious danger.
