With the off-season upon us, it is time to pick this forum's best Broncos team of all time, so it may sit proudly beside our best Qld team of all time in the hall of fame.

Every week there will be a new poll with a new position for you to pick, and we'll keep this one updated with your selections as well as squabbles, discussion etc.

Before we kick off with a position, though, we've got one serious choice to make. I'll start up a poll now to decide whether you want to see Darren Lockyer eligible for fullback or five-eighth.

Nice one as always Penny.

Broncomatt has also raised with me the fact that I should mention it's based on Broncos performances only. So people might want to re-think if they were going to label Swain the best hooker or Lewis the best five-eighth.

But I guess that all comes down to you. I can say the above as much as I want, but people will still go with who they want to go with. Please try and keep it to the best performances in the maroon and gold of the Broncos thanks, and please be serious with at least this - it'll be great to see real debate and a true representation of our best of the best voted by the folks who know!

no willie carne in anyones team apart from coxys reserves!? shame on you all.

I would have/will have him in my starting team when I vote, guy was a farking legend and would have scored a million tries for the club had he not had so many head injuries.

as much as i liked Sailor and Tuqiri i am going to vote for Carne and Hancock as the wingers

Willie Carne was a gun!!!!

Willie Carne = David Williams without the beard?

Willie Carne was awesome, especially liked his ability to miss conversions from right in front!
