BHQ's Best Ever Broncos Team - discussion thread

But just like Lockyer he just needs the time to settle into a position. Actually if you compare them both Hayne is alot like Lockyer and in 5yrs time could also be spoken about along side him. he just purely needs time.

I'm not arguing. I'm simply saying it's a massive call at this stage to think Hayne will be spoken about as one of the players of the decade, considering there hasn't been a single game played this decade yet and Hayne's good form has been 12 weeks :P

You might be right, he certainly has the talent, but he has a lot to add to his game still.

on a serious note thou the Eels of 2009 could go along way to being an all time great as well, Ok so they missed the GF but no other team can finish the year like they did. And Hayne imo will be on most peoples Team of the decade.

Nuh. Eels of 2009 weren't even the team of 2009 on all levels. They were the form team at the end of the year, ho-hum.

Just remember, some names in recent years who have been touted as future all-time greats of the game include Brett Firman, Joe Williams, Shannon Walker... like Coxy said, give it time. Plenty of kids have potential.
