Damnit i didn't put my 2nd vote in. Argh. I went 1 for Carne, and my 2nd would've been for hancock.

Turquri & Sing for me. I think they had the best impact on Origin.

I went Sing and Sailor. Sing, because he was brilliant in the origin arena, and Sailor because...well...he's Sailor.

IMO though, Sailor was one of the most underachieving players in Origin. He did so much in club and Test footy, but in Origin he seemed to get stage fright. Only 1 try in 14 appearances for a winger of his size, speed and skill...remarkable.

I agree his record in Origin in is very poor, but he always made the hard meters, and took a lot of pressure off the forwards. I remember he set up a lot more tries than he scored. I'm a tad biased because i'm a huge Sailor fan, if I wasn't it would have been Shearer for me.

agreed.

In many ways Sailor is a Renouf....orsm at Club, luke warm at Origin.

Tuquiri [icon_non If he stayed in the NRL and more importantly a Bronco, he would have pissed this in. Such a talent wasted in that shite sport.

Boustead & Shearer & Sing...can I choose 3?

Are we picking an attacking blitz or are we picking a rounded side????? Whose on the inside of these wingers???? Too many questions unanswered BroncoMatt!!!!!

I lock in Boustead and Sing.....just.

Yeah well same reasons above I won't be picking Renouf in the centres. Never reached any great heights at that level. Meninga is obviously one centre...who's the other. That will be the question.

It took me a while, but I ended up going for McIndoe And Boustead.

Bowie is one of the all time great wingers and had to be there.

McIndoe is a bolter. He played in the dream teams of '88 & '89 and I think he gets forgotten behind some of the big names from those series. Gee he was a good winger. His Positional play was brillaint, and at thier best I dont think there was a faster player. I just pulled out the '89 Origin Series DVD today , and he played the perfect wingers game

It was between McIndoe and Shearer for my second vote.

I'm gonna guess Carne and Sing! Especially with her fetish for karaoke. "Carne Sing us a song!"

OK, that was lame.

Indeed it was! [icon_wink [icon_lol1.

I dont think she has voted yet. But it wont be any surprise to anyone Willie would be one vote!

She would probably go Sing, Shearer or Hancock for the other I think

Have now been alerted to this poll! Of course, Willie!!!!! He should be in the Queensland Centenary team IMO icon_thumbs_u

As for the other - Matty Sing by far... cos he can sing [icon_drun

See, she's so bloody predictable.

Come on people, please vote for Boustead. It'd be a joke if Carne gets in ahead of him.

I don't think it'd be proper for a 23-year-old to vote for Boustead tbh.

From that list, I could basically pick Sing, Tuqiri, Carne, Sailor or Dallas [icon_lol1.

Boustead is a no brainer - the best winger I have seen in my 30 years of watching footy.

I went for Mick Hancock as my second vote, he scored tries that many wingers of today could only dream of at Origin level. His Origin form did taper away during the mid 90's, but no one can take away his great performances in the late 80's and early 90's.

Mcindoe was another classy winger, I almost voted for him. But I couldn't go past Hancock

Sing and Shearer for me, though Sing was the only easy choice. I was in nappies when Boustead was in his prime.

Boustead was pure class: speed, evasiveness, determination.

Along with Ken Irvine, one of the great specialist wingers of all time.
