Fucking hell. That's devastating news.
“We have a team of players, it’s no dramas. I wish it didn’t happen but it’s happened,” he said.
“Halfway through the season he will be back playing for us, we’ll manage it while he’s away and get on with life.”
Wayne sounds pretty confident he'll be back at the 6 month point, which will be June 5, Round 13, precisely half way through the season if he returns 6 months from today.

You throw Milford into 1 and he'll never see the ball from 6. ?
That won't be happening.
How many players with Achilles injuries come back on time?
Can't believe I'm saying this but...
Maranta over Kahu or Eden.
Kahu: just doesn't have the proven experience of Maranta at NRL level.
Eden: basically a rudimentary ESL fullback from a nothing club. At best ESL = Intrust Cup. He's a Luke Capewell. Depth signing at best.
Geez this is gonna be an interesting year now.
Bennett has to go safe. Milford's rookie rawness was going to be smoothed/comforted by Boyd's safeness. Maybe Hodges needs to fill that role, Maranta dropping back in defence, Hodges in attack.
Or throw Kahu into the fire. Griffin saw plenty to throw him into the 6 as a stop gap last year. I haven't seen enough of him to say anything but he's a solid finisher. He's another Griffin favourite (he's basically Griffin's Boyd).
We all naysay Glenn as a Griffin favourite who's overstayed his ability, that might hold true for Kahu.
