Unfortunate for the Sharkies because they really need him out on the paddock. There will now be immense pressure on Barrett to perform, particularly now that Kearney (who potentially could have partnered him in the halves) is out for an extended period.

Honestly, Credit to cronulla, they are one of the few clubs with balls to immediately stand down players when they **** up regardless if their a star or not. Good on em.

Isn't this the reason why he was sacked at the Broncos? Why can't these players learn to control themselves? Good on Cronulla for having the guts to stand him down, the whole issue is getting ridiculous.
