Not really in our case. Most of our games are played at 7:50 or 8:05pm when younger kids are likely heading to bed before we even get to half time.To be honest, I don't think kids really always need to attend games to become big fans. I think having a massive free to air exposure helps just as much, if not more, especially as NRL is probably one of the most made-for-TV team sports on the planet.
They may not buy jerseys and memberships or be what advertisers care about today, but in another 10 years time when those kids have grown up they will be, and the Broncos wont be on their radars.
If you don't think the consequences of doing this for over a decade already are real, it's only because you haven't noticed the fallout yet.
