I was always of mind that we needed a leader to inspire the young uns.

After Friday's game it has become apparent that the team do follow Boyd and want to play for him. So what we need to do is work on Boyd's mental attitude as presently his actions are not that inspiring. If he can lift his game another 5% from Friday, I think the whole team will lift accordingly.

I'm now convinced that Darius holds the key for us this season. I know we are all screaming at him on here to man up, but if Siebs can get him to make more of those last ditch tackles we're still in with a slight chance of making the 8.

As they say defence is all about attitude and we had it on Friday.

All week Siebs needs to be driving that message into Darius and the boys.

I suspected that Boyd had strong support but the other night, well I admit I felt a strong surge of emotion when I saw how much Boyd succeeding meant to his team mates. If Boyd can weather the abuse then maybe that's an example to the team because Boyd sure has stood up to it.
Making the eight is still a real chance.

This signing is strange to me. When his contract runs out he will be 31 in 2021. Would only give him a yr or two no longer don't want the same mistake as Boyd. And if we did get him I wouldn't move Milf to 1. Is it just me or does Milfs running game suck these days? He appears to step into ppl these days and can't make a clean break. Maybe its the extra playing weight he is carrying. Walkers running game is much better.
