It makes sense... set the linespeed and tackle everything.
If he's completely spent we've always got Smoothy as a back up hooker to Bhunt later in the game.
I expect Paix to have a sneaky go if we get close to the line and he's still on.
All the attention will be everywhere else and he might be able to sneak over... in a game that could be close any tries are worth their weight in gold.

I just can't see Haas letting us lose.. Add into that a fresh Carrigan in our pack and I feel we can really win the middle.

Would it be above Madge to get Phillip Coates to get into Xavier's head? I know Xavier's deathly afraid of snakes and Madge has been rumoured to have used snakes in pre-season training.
And would it be above Bellamy to use Xavier to gleen some inside info from Phillip considering he was part of the group on the field celebrating after the win over penrith last week?

I wasn’t this nervous in ‘23. I think they’re going to kill it and I’ll be laughing all night thinking about how silly I was to feel this nervous!! lol I have a good feeling about this!!
