vs. Warriors - February 23rd Dunedin's Forsyth Barr Stadium

Cowboys venue is to be determined & as posted earlier the Warriors game is going to be shown on Fox.

Good to see trial matches being telecast, hope it's a sign for the future.

I'm seriously thinking of going to the one in NZ. Never been to Dunedin before, it should be a good little trip away. They need more matches in the South Island to promote league. I've been there many times, no one gives a $hit about league, it's all Union.

i guess the cowboys game is likely to be up north somewhere (ie not townsville).. which is fair enough.

i sort of expected norman to be somewhere in the trial team, given we're basically certain to have a new set of halves this year, and its likely he who would be in a different position (or left right out altogether but that seems unlikely).

He's primarily played through the middle since he broke into first grade.

I would guess it would be 1. Bond, 2. Whitchurch, 3. Kahu, 4. Maranta, 5. Georgetown, 6. Norman, 7. Hunt, 8. Anderson, 9. Baptiste, 10. Jarrod Wallace, 11. Lui, 12. Gibb, 13. Stagg with the likes of Dalziel-Don, Timu, capewell, oates, slyney etc somewhere on the bench
