Thoughts?

Where would you guys rank our players?

In general...

I won't attach a number but if I was nominating Broncos this is how I'd go from strongest to weakest.

Justin Hodges
Sam Thaiday
Corey Parker
Ben Hannant
Alex Glenn
Josh McGuire
Ben Te'o
Petero Civoniceiva
Josh Hoffman
Matt Gillett

RLW editor must loves himself some Souths players.

What is this list exactly? Top 100 of this year?

If it is this year, to have hodges behind thaiday is beyond laughable

That's why I'm asking the question. Thaiday was amazingly average where as Hodges was good to great in the games he played for us.

Not a bad list actually, Just get rid of Inglis from the 1 and put him anywhere in the top 20.

Dave Taylor has no business being on this list... Nor does Ben 'the cat' creagh

Jamie Lyon at 9 !!! Kidding imo.Inglis was too high at 1. Most of the list is pretty good but 55 is way too low for Parker considering his brilliant games in SOO and pretty consistent season allowing for a major leg wound. Talylor played quite a few good games but is a little too high up for mine. Closer to Willy Mason really.

He's the best club-level centre going around for sure.

Hoffman anywhere on this list gives this list zero credibility.

Maybe right guys but the stats for season 2012 put Josh Morris kilometres ahead...things like tries and metres gained/run. Josh Morris ran for a thousand metres (3017 arm) more than Lyons (1949 arm)and Morris scored 17 tries to Lyons 11. Morris made 105 more hitups although making fewer tackles at (249) compared to Lyons (428)...Morris really had a stellar season if the stats are any indicator.

For me at least I'd have it the other way round with Morris at 9 and Lyons at 12.

Not saying you folk are wrong or anything, just that Morris went okay too.

Morris is a more dangerous runner, but Lyon adds a few extra things which make him a more rounded player IMO - he's better in defence and his stints at 5/8th earlier in his career have made him one of their main creative players. He also adds a very underrated short kicking game into the in goal quite often.

Let's not forget Lyon's most important statistic: try assists.

Which by the by is 18-4 his way (source: Big League 2012 season review)

All good. Maybe it's my dislike of Manly overriding good judgement !!!Still prefer Morris but each has their merits and would be useful in a Bronco outfit !!

Anyone with half a brain knows Lyon is easily the games best centre. Josh Morris scores tries and thats about all whereas Lyon is a great defender, great creator and finishes well and most importantly as a QLDER he has a pea-heart and refuses to play for NSW!
