At the end of the day, in our current squad we only need 4 blokes to be performing at their peak and we will be at the pointy end of the season: Reyno, Walsh, Carrigan and Haas. As long as those 4 are even semi regularly having blinders, we'll be in a good place. Anyone else in the team that happens to stand out as well is just a bonus.

If Mam doesn't get sacked, I am actually keen as hell to see how he goes when he returns. He will be fresh as a daisy and hopefully hungry as **** for redemption.

When he blew out his achilles in the preseason I thought that was end end of him .
He a had a cpl of more good seasons , then fell off a cliff . He should have given it up probably 2 seasons before he did to keep his reputation . But I think it is hard to give up that earning power .

He made a lot of try assists in the few seasons before it all went south .

I dont think he was really given the opportunity. We have already heard a few things about Kevvie basically wanting yes men who wont challenge him too much. One thing Boyd does is speak his mind.

People probably have a bit of a skewed opinion of Boyd really because of how things ended up. They forget how good he was before his body started breaking down and only remember how his form dropped at the end.

Reyno has a place in Samford Valley (wherever that is). Madge owns 3 houses in Brisbane - at Everton Park, Bracken Ridge and Durack. I assume these are suburbs up there. Maybe Madge can rent these joints of his out to the Gold Coast based players, give em mates rates.

I remember him playing centre in origin too and throwing a perfect offload as he was falling in the tackle to set up a try in the corner just like he had been gifted himself so many times . So he wasn`t a one trick pony . Like you are trying to make out .
