Bellamy without Cameron smith:

Won 2/9 state of origins
25% winning record in the nrl
Lost a gf 40-0
Won 1/3 country origins

This is why he didn't leave the storm and why he is by far the most over rated coach in the history of the nrl..... watch the Blake green interview on fox nrl recently and you'll see how much Bellamy "coaches" the storm
Can't find the interview, is it available online? What show was it on?

I can't remember the interviewer (Alexander maybe?) but Cronk did one about 2 months ago when he talked about Boyd and Milford in it...

My pick comes down to a choice of two:

Kevin Walters vs Paul Green

It is clear that Kevvie knows what he is doing now and is a fantastic mix of modern and traditional coaching and he wants the job - he would get my tick of approval for sure.

Paul Green on the other hand clearly also loves our club, is a fantastic tactician and just look at the way he has built that side and has got it functioning. To do what he has done with that side and to see how they perform week-in, week-out without both JT and Scott is phenomenal. He has also managed to keep a team with massive amounts of injuries relevant all season and does it even with the likes of Feldt and Linnett in the backline, he is a tremedous coach and man-manager clearly.

Given Walters has just re-signed with Qld, I'd be on the blower to Green in a heartbeat.

Walters.

I couldn't stomach the thought of Bellamy abusing the team for dropping a ball.

Wayne should bring back Walters as an assistant to groom him again to eventually hand over the reins.

I'm in that small but vocal group of folks that think Bellamy is overrated

I don't think he is shit though, just not as good as some would have us believe

For me, Kevvie is the favourite option, but I rate Ivan Cleary too

Walters or Bellamy. Maybe PG if he was interested.

Not sure what's happened to Madge.

Madge got the job at souths right when all their star players were at their peak. The likes of Inglis, burgess bros, Sutton and teo were right at the top of their game along with some talented youngsters like Dylan walker.

I agree on Bellamy. He's a bit like Ricky at the Roosters- he just got lucky.

It is, I just don't see Smith uprooting his family when he'll be given a similar role at the Storm and most likely a media career.
Pay them well, given they're not capped... yet.

....say a lot of people about a lot of players.

I'm not saying it's beyond the realms of possibility but with a coaching career at the storm his, if he wants it and a no doubt lucrative media career....once again if he wants it, I don't see him coming to Brisbane. Anytime soon anyway. Would love for it to happen

We can offer him double the creepy gym battle rope ads.
Speaking of those ropes, it motivated me to try them at my gym, but I felt like a stupid asshole doing it. Lucky no one saw.

Smith is from Brisbane. At some point it's nice to come home. Melbourne is a great city to visit but crap weather to live.
