Broncos NYC 2015

Pearson, I liked what I saw in the minutes of the game I watched.

He can bloody jump and those catches were awesome. Folau style. And he has some speed.

Made all the levels up a winner so far, from club football in Rocky, to Under 20's and ISC he's gone well in a few weeks.

That was so much fun last night, the Broncos best performance in 18 momths. Byrnes was outstanding, he is having a great year, safe and can finish a try. He is providing real leadership out there.

Arrow was great in the amount of work he got through, hit up, offloads and tackles a lot of them and with impact.

Saitaua is really good off the bench, he comes on and has teams a bit unsure what he is doing. He only needs 20-30 minutes and he is making and impact.

All week it was Tuivasa-Sheck and Taane Milne with Hastings and all their scoring potential; but they just didn't get a look in. Broncos ruck defence was solid and hurting.

Broncos NRL NYC player profiles does not have 'Pearson' listed nor does it have any info regarding Nikau Terupe. It even has Richard Skelton playing for the Broncos when he played for the Roosters last night. A club that reportedly turned over $30 million last year can't employ someone to keep their website up to date!!!!.

No Nikau info to give, he was at Terrace last year and has never played league. Pearson plays in Rockhampton and for the Capras and Skelton was at Reddy but then went to the Roosters not too long ago, they didn't want him. His brother Jeremy plays for Reddy and is with the Broncos.

Byrnes is going very well. I can't wrap him enough.

Roosters game was two tries, three line breaks, one line break assist and eight tackle breaks. He set up two tries as well with his play.

Broncos recover to defeat St George Illawarra 36 points to 20.

Brisbane lead through out the majority of the match, but St George took an early 20-18 lead in the second half only for Brisbane to score three unanswered tries to secure the victory.

Considering it was first taking on last, and last was missing some key players, I doubt it was the best performance from the boys but a win is a win.

Taylor was very good again from all reports (scored 2 tries), and his goal kicking has been excellent (6 from 6 tonight).

Scored a length of the field try in the dying minutes of the match to rub salt into the wound according to the report.

Shoddy game all round, just like the big boys very flat this week. Taylor's defence has improved dramatically this year. I have been really impressed. He's the spot player and he's making them make errors. The second try he scored was really good too- good football.

Two points and move on. Not much more to take from it. Will be a few changes next week.

I didn't think Taylor played his best. He is a very structured half and keeps the boys in check, but I think there will be a few missed tackles on his stat sheet. I've seen him play better this year. There were a few good performances, but I agree on a whole, especially at the start the boys were a bit flat. But they are clear no 1 on the table now so I wouldn't expect too many changes. They are getting the job done nicely.

JOE Ofahengaue has been sent to the Queensland Cup, creating a chance for young front rower Lindsay Collins to start for the Broncos under 20s this Saturday at Suncorp Stadium.

Ofahengaue has played both NRL and NYC this year, but now heads to play for Ipswich in the Intrust Super Cup.
It is all part of the Broncos' plan in developing players through the levels.
"This is part of the development process we have here at the Broncos," said Brisbane under 20s coach Craig Hodges.
"We have a few senior guys that have had good starts to the competition in this team and now it is time for them to go up for some experience.
"That in turn gives some of the younger guys more opportunity at this level.
"There is a strategy and purpose to everything we do with this.
"Lindsay has been playing well for us coming off the bench, so it is a chance to see what he can do as a starter now."
Sam Gee comes onto the interchange list, as does Will Brimson for the match against Parramatta that begins at 5.40pm on Saturday.
Brimson replaces back-up hooker Kalolo Saitaua, who has a high ankle sprain.
