Our depth in the halves is particularly shallow, I doubt hunt will be going anywhere.

Hence the interest in both Cody Walker and now Lolohea.

With Nichols now off to the Panthers you would think Wayne has something in the works.

He is a game breaker though. I'm not saying we should go for him, but even though he's not in the spine he's going to be a great asset for any team. Worth half a mill I reckon.

Because Hala was less than useless. He made one good run (where he had to run from about 30 metres back to get up speed, and then ran straight at an opposition half), and scored one brutal try, and that's it. As much as I wanted to see him bring his '20s potential to first grade, it'll never ever happen. Even as a cheap prop, he'd be a liability.

Can't, as previously mentioned, he is currently stuck on Mars due to an inability to move sideways or reverse.

Fai, Ese'ese and Funaki are all already better than him and given they aren't that great yet, says everything you need to know about Hala.

Him playing footy for us would interrupt his real job which is lifting big at the gym. The dude was beyond hopeless and a major flop in the NRL. Its a shame his gym ethic didn't eventuate into his rugby league career

Think that's harsh on Hala, when he first broke into the team he looked very promising, then his knew blew out against Melb. Then he had another injury. Then another I think. Combine that with not having the best engine anyway and yeah he was up against. I don't think I'd call him totally hopeless or a massive flop, it just didn't work out for him (some ways his fault, others not), happens to a lot of players who were neither the best or the worst ever.

I think before any money is offered to Semi, we need to wait to see if he's done for beating his wife or not.

Add that off field crap to the whole getting on a plane and sitting in Fiji instead of training, well, I'd be more than happy to see him leave for Union.

they all moved into more key positions before they started earning top dollars.
uate shows you that paying big money for wingers is a waste of time. Hell, look at St George when they had morris and nightingale of the books for a mill. There team was shithouse because they wasted big money on wingers

I'd be all for Semi if he landed in our lap at the right price, but I reckon we can win a comp or 2 with our current backline without him.
But they won't get the chance to do this without a meter eater in the front row.
To me, Mead, Pearson, Kahu and Oates are all the wingers we need at this point and all very capable.
We need a real forward.
And, the whole KNik as super sub hooker works heaps better when he's running off of big man that has just drawn 4 defenders and left big holes everywhere

This guy is being hunted by other clubs at the moment Canberra and Storm.

He looks alright he does some big hits, has a pretty good offload and he runs over everyone and has a bit of speed for a big fella.

Do you reckon he would be alright if we tried to get him?

We had Folau on the wing for $400k, he was worth every cent IMO.
