The thing is, Napa is not being shopped around. He is coming home for the coming home factor. Given I am a Novacastrian, I feel I have some authority in being able to say that Newcastle is a fair drive from Brisbane.

just a bit up the road, over that hill and around the corner

The issue doesn't lie with Hunts kicking ability - he CAN kick, and kick well.

The issue is with where and when he is kicking from. Both halves are kicking from stationary positions, as the team isn't on the front foot. It makes it very difficult for any half to put in a decent kick when the defence is on the front foot.

If you watch closely, Hunts kicking game is dramatically better when we have won the yardage on that particular set of 6.

This might be the first thing you've said that I disagree with Joe, go back and watch some footage from last season and tell me how many times Hunt either kicked it dead or kicked it into the legs of an opponent while within 20 metres of the oppositions try line (Which would generally constitute us being on the front foot, would it not?), he's comfortably in the top 5 worst attacking kickers in the game, and you can't blame lack of opportunities as the sole reason, that's just being obnoxious.

How's about you tell us how many times he did it?

I already know the answer, but I want to know if you have gone through the footage yourself and found out.

Just seen that Chris Gresvmul is requesting a release on compassionate grounds, sign him up then Broncs.

I do rate him. Bollocking ball runner that can snatch a try. Could be mistaken but wasn't he used effectively at prop off the bench?

Can't see us snaring him. An optimistic me would wonder if he could be that front rower we're counting on roosters to acquire in order to release Napa as Joe eluded to.

But the fact you mentioned compassionate grounds sort of rules that out. My guess if its true would be him filling the Hannant void for cowboys
