Not a lot.

I was a bigger fan of his work in the 20s and Junior Reps where he showed good fundamentals (getting over the advantage line, picking the right option, getting on the outside).

Even so, he wasn't a total bust at Sydney. He played well against the Raiders in Round 2 and combined well with Mitchell against the Sea Eagles (from memory...). Half the battle was getting the ball off of Friend. Without all the familiar faces, Friend was compelled to pick up the slack of three players.

When you consider the form of Jackson Hastings you can hardly blame him, but Jayden Nikorima drew the short straw.

On his day Segeyaro can be one of the better hookers in the comp, working with Bennett could bring out that consistently. the few half decent hookers in that list above are unlikely, IMO, to come here to play second fiddle to Macca.

I wouldn't know about the NYC or ISC/NSW Cup players as i don't see them play or even no who they are.

also Segyaro would have to come here at the right price for us ... either a fairly modest contract or Penrith picking up a good portion of his contract

He's not in as a strong position to negotiate as he once was, that's knocked a few $$$ off his asking price. IF Bennett were to be interested signing him I'd think he'd be looking for Seggy to want to come home to Queensland for the right reasons - get out of Sydney and get his shit together on and off the field. If so, hopefully we can get him for not much more than we had earmarked for Walker.
