95% of the teams in the league could have $5 milllion available to spend in the cap, and they would be bullshitting everyone saying they've got nothing ... only the Titans (Mal/Gordie) are stupid enough to talk about war chests and look at how badly they're getting ripped off by players and their managers

Innefective in what way? He averages about 140 meters a game. His defence is solid and he just gets his work done without much fuss. Exactly the type of player we need right now to help out with our lack of experience and our poor defence. For the right price on a 12 month deal I cant see a downside.

I am really starting to think that even though there are no real high quality players available to buy for next year, even fairly average, run of the mill players such as Tolman would provide more than many of the current gronks in the team. And most likely at a cheaper price than we are currently paying.

I mean really, plodders such as Glenn ( he's more interested in updating his Insta), Oates (more interested in playing the goody idiot in his radio gigs) etc, what do they really offer us anymore? Turf the muppets out, buy a few new workhorse type blokes with better attitudes and who might be grateful for a second chance at a club in urgent need of regeneration, and we might just be better off. Too many lazy ***** in our team just going through the motions in their all too familiar comfort zones. So many in this current team who have had it too easy for too long.

Add some steal to our forward pack by finding seasoned workhorses will go a long way. We have too many kids in the pack who need a forward leader to follow. Fix our defence also and then I believe the likes of Dearden, Milford, bird and Staggs can put on the points we need.

Yes I say Milford and bird because they are signed for next season and there isn’t anyone else available

These are his stata for first 14 rounds this year. I dono about you mob but I'd happily have those stats along with his experience. He definitely should be a target.

I honestly can't fathom the people who dismiss Tolman just because he isn't Jason Taumalolo. The sheer numbers make that argument simply unable to be defended.

Tolman's numbers in 2020 are in fact comparable with a lot of Shane Webcke's numbers but for some reason we rightly laud Webcke as an Elite Prop but totally dismiss Tolman as a plodder who is absolutely past it. It's just not remotely supported by the numbers being produced.

100%.

Both cheap, low maintenance players who will do their job without any fuss or frills. You could probably get them both for not a lot more than what we currently pay Joe Ofahengaue or even Macca on their own.

Tolman may not win games for us on his own, but you can be damn sure he won't lose them for us either which is more than I can say for a lot of our other Forwards this season.
