I'm glad you're that self aware, mate.Repeating a falacy ad nauseum still won't make it true.

Whilst I agree Taylor has a passing game, it isn't a strength of his. In fact, I think knik shows him up a bit in this area. His short balls are severely under rated on this forum and by commentators. Put it this way, if a johns, Thurston or cronk did those same passes there would be a 10 minute discussion about the greatness of the pass. They aren't easy to time or to execute at full pace + with deception like he does...Repeating a falacy ad nauseum still won't make it true.
If we have Milford & Taylor locked up long-term, nothing else matters, I don't give a flying **** about some kids coming through the 18's & 20's who have potential, they can stick around a la Hunt biding his time behind Lockyer & Wallace, or they can try their luck elsewhere, it's inconsequential to us as we'll have 2 guys in their early 20's with a real shot at being the best halves combination in the sport for the next 10 years.
Isn't that word for word what was said with Milford and Hunt; and what is now causing this trouble?
???? Obviously im talking about the money. I think we need a controlling half more than a ball playing lock. Gillette could be that player and then we would have $700k to make a play. Now we would need to move people on .

So because Hunt shit the bed and never recovered mentally we should never try for that again.
I honestly can't believe how much I am agreeing with Unbreakable and Porthoz at the moment (yes, I'm scared too) but Taylor is what we need. We don't have a kicking game which has cost us so much, arguably a grand final. Taylor has that, personally I think he has more than that but honestly if all he brings is that amazing kicking game I couldn't give a ****. He is the missing puzzle piece and would allow Milf to just be Milf.
The Broncos have to make a decision on who will be halfback over the next 10 years, whether it be Taylor or one of the guys coming through.
You don't, because they're all at very different stages of development. You're not going to pick a school boy now and they're no where near ready anyway.
100% with you here. Knik's passing game is underrated, and nowhere will you see me claim that Taylor's is better, which is a different thing from saying it's non-existent.Whilst I agree Taylor has a passing game, it isn't a strength of his. Please note: I am not claiming knik is in any of those players class or better then ash Taylor.
Not by all of us... :pokeytongue:Isn't that word for word what was said with Milford and Hunt; and what is now causing this trouble?
Guys, don't question Ashley Taylors passing and running game or the BHQ forum moderator will refer to you as the Minister of Propaganda for the Nazis. Definitely not a gross exaggeration at all.No worries Goebbels, likewise.
Welcome to the dark side!So because Hunt shit the bed and never recovered mentally we should never try for that again.

Not when it comes to you. It's pretty accurate actually.Guys, don't question Ashley Taylors passing and running game or the BHQ forum moderator will refer to you as the Minister of Propaganda for the Nazis. Definitely not a gross exaggeration at all.
Bullshit. His passing and running game is similar to Hunt and Milfords kicking game. It's been known to be alright, but is not something that he does often. Still waiting for an explanation about how Roberts and Gillett will double their production by the way?100% with you here. Knik's passing game is underrated, and nowhere will you see me claim that Taylor's is better, which is a different thing from saying it's non-existent.
The thing with Taylor is that he is an ideal half pair to Milford or even Knik for that matter, and the reason I would want Knik at fullback (with a pre-season under his belt to learn the intricacies of commanding the defensive line), is to take advantage of his attacking game, besides Boyd would strengthen our left side in defense and attack playing centre.
No matter how often people say that Taylor's strengths lie elsewhere, and are exactly the things we lack and absolutely need, you will have people who can never admit being wrong, trot out the fallacy he can't pass, run or defend... if anything, to make themselves feel better about their previous statements.
Not by all of us... :pokeytongue:
