I'm not sure he would be better then knik to be fair. He's 30 and is getting sacked by a terribly under performing club in an easier/less intense competition. And even though knik may not be great, all the areas he lacks in cooper does not bring anyway. At least knik has a great attitude, has been playing in the nrl, and has youth on his side.
Having said that, if he came for a bargain price & Bennett pulled his attitude in line might be worth a gamble, but I'd prefer hodkinson as he brings what we need from a back up

I don't think we can trust anyone when it comes to this halfback musical chairs that's happening. Nobody has a clue what's happening
Thorn has been there five minutes and already identified that he wants Duncan Paia'aua in his team. He loves him he had him in the Queensland Country side.
I was impressed with Paia'aua when Broncos moved him from 20's to ISC he played really well and handled it. He had Oates with him too at CQ and they played really well together they got a draw at Redcliffe and shouldn't have. Not too many CQ sides would have come away from Redcliffe with any points.

Basically McGillvery saying that Wayne is the best coach he has ever had and he would do anything for him.
Bennett said the other day he could have made it in the NRL but he's too old now.

Sounds like something Wayne would say to lower his asking price in order to sign him.
He's 29, probably could get a few good years out of him with his current form.

He would last one game. Would get spotted so badly, his shoulders would never recover! He is a turnstile in defence in Union. He would be ruthlessly exposed in defence in the NRL.
