That's true, but we've got a whole bunch of those types of forwards already. Don't really see much benefit to getting him.

This is a great signing. Whilst he isn't a great player he makes our depth in the middle un-matched in the nrl (note I said depth, not quality, yet). Our forward pack, particulalrly its depth, seems to be building into an era not seen since the early 2000's. Really exciting stuff with the juniors and the seasoned campaigners mix we have.

Forward packs get you to a gf, halves win it. We just need milf to fire over the next 2-3 years and 2-3 of our promising young forwards out of the 5-6 we have to live up to the hype and we will have all the ingredients for a premiership

For **** sake please no... my dad is a sharks fan so I have watched a fair chunk of sharks and I can tell you taga is an absolute spud that will hinder us more than help us.

He is always due a drop ball and/or a penalty in his paltry 25mins a game. He is no longer the linebreaking forward you're remembering from back in the day... broncos need to give it a pass when it comes to taga

He most definitely will let you down.... his stats from the last couple years when the slide seriously began

Errors: 15 Pens: 4
Tackles: 13.65
Hitups: 8.15
Running Metres: 71.15

2017 stats
P: 12
Mins: 253 - 21mins per game
Error: 2 Pens: 1
(all errors and pens were in the same game)
Tackles: 12.33
Hitups: 5.58
Running Metres: 47.17

It would appear his dismal 2016 resulted in even less minutes for 2017 and a lack of faith from the coach who only played him 12 times.

He will offer nothing more than a $200k hole in the back pocket and a road block for Fai and co who are now looking for first grade chances

Home grown isn't working? Home grown hasn't really been given a chance to work. Fai & the rest of our u20 boys who are now looking for their shot have not really had any real time to gel playing week in week out and nut out combinations. I think it silly to get another forward who will roadblock these younger ones because of experience, rather than potential.

If Fai and Co are better than him then they will make first grade on their own merits. It wont be Tagataeses fault they are held up in the lower grades.
