I've never paid attention to these articles, regardless of the player. You're assuming Taylor's the one who's baiting, when you don't in fact have any more information than a sensationalist tweet from a News Ltd. reporter.

Once Taylor made his decision, I was disappointed but understood, and most importantly, moved on...

Yeah but I wouldn't expect to be welcomed back with open arms after leaving us high and dry when we needed him the most, looking after him for years, using us as a way to get a better deal (which he will probably do again in 4 years) and the coach helping him and giving advice whilst he's at another club. He took the easy option and he didn't deserve the easy option.

One day if he decides to return and give back to the club that made him then we should forgive him. Until then he's just like Hoffman and Norman.

I wouldnt expect him to be welcomed back either, but i dont agree he left us high and dry. He simply looked after himself and his future. I do agree he took the easy option as well, but so would most people. The money was just too much to turn down. If our offer was close to the Titans offer, he would be a Bronco, the deal he took is more than likely almost double what we put on the table. I really dont think thats a major crime.

Could be right there, but nobody will want him if he isnt performing. Contracts arent the difficult to get out of in Rugby league tbf. If he is performing, it isnt out of the realms of possibility that we could prise him away if he wants to leave and we can fit him in.

If the place goes to shit, he might have no choice but to leave as the club would probably fold. But there is more Titan support out there than one might think. I recently moved down to the Mid North Coast of NSW and the number of Titans fans down here is astonishing. Titan jerseys, towels, bumper stickers is the norm here so they do have a healthy following. Actually, the amount of RL support down here is refreshing. I never experienced that in any of the places I lived at in Qld.

To be honest, I dont think Bennet is at fault. I dont think anyone expect either Hunt or Taylor to get offered the money they both did. They both got offered once in a lifetime deals and we just couldn't compete.

Then again Taylor had only played one game for us when he left and wouldn't of been a starting half until this year if he stayed which means we would of had to over pay him, I doubt a bloke with his skills would of just waited around. Ben Hunt wasn't forced to leave he wanted to, and Bennett has never been the type to beg someone to stay, so I don't think he would of done much differently. I think Bennett loves the fact Niko genuinely wants to be there and would bend over backwards for him.

It's not like another club helped and paid for his development leading into the NRL. Oh wait. They are lucky to even have had him for two seasons, Bennett and the club could have easily denied his request for a release in 2016, who knows where he might have been if the Broncos denied him a release at that stage either, he may have stayed or another club could have easily snapped him up after his contract was up and that might not have been the titans.

Has anyone here really ever considered a Gold Coast side as an arch rival? I could think of more teams I love to hate and beat then another failing franchise based on the Gold Coast just making up the numbers. Hell the Crushers despite being a rubbish side were more of a rival side cause they were a Brisbane based side and also on the ARL side of the war at the time.

As to arch-rival, the Cows are getting up there, but for me it's the Storm. However to the Tits, we probably would be theirs, as we're the club they undoubtedly aspire to be!

The Cowboys to me would be like a match against the Raiders in the 90's, potential for real quality match right there from both side.

But our true arch rivals are the Storm and rightly so, as frustrating as the type of football they have built their success on and introduced to the game, I respect how damn well they have been at it. For me they are like what Balmain were early on for the Broncos, they knew exactly how to win against us, get us into an arm wrestle and exploit the weaknesses that appear.

For the Titans fans your right, but from a Broncos fan perspective, there are so many more sides I would put ahead of them as true rivals.
