Did you see when Cook played against us? We already had the answer to Cook. He was ineffective.

Haha yeah mate, sure.. Damien Cook is ineffective.. let's go with that..

Hope you're joking

That's not what he said, he said he was ineffective against us which is the truth, we did a great job of shutting him down.
I'm honestly curious as to how we managed that, and twice no less. We're one of the worst teams at controlling the speed of the ruck, which you'd think would play right into Cook's hands. We obviously did something differently which begs the question why didn't we do it every week.

We also somehow shut down Taumalolo with game plans set up by the coach we are sacking. He’s definitely past it

I’ll be waiting for your apology once you realise I was correct

although it has been reported that JD was the one to come up with the game plans we used to beat Souths ... so it is possible that he also came up with the game plans used to shut down Taumololo

Not sure I'd consider 286m a 'shut down'.

I agree with your point though. When we play the good teams we have a game plan which generally works and we generally win. It's the games against the poorer teams where we look like an disorganised rabble that are the problem.

It's clear Wayne hasn't lost his ability to produce a winning game plan, but evidence suggests he's lost the ability to get the team to stick to it week-in week-out.

But he’s not wrong, at least yet. Regardless, the variables have changed with the swap of coaches so it would be a pretty hard argument to make either way.

He was wrong about what Cult was talking about. He was just saying when we played the Rabbits we shut down Cook fairly easily, which we did. UTB seemed to make the assumption he was saying Cook was ineffective in general, which wasnt what he was saying.

Maybe Wayne will take Oates to Souffs and turn him into a second rower to replace Crichton..
I wouldn't put it past him if this now turns nasty between the club and WB, we know he loves to have the power.

Sad when you can't admit you made a mistake. Real men can admit when they are wrong.
