I seriously think this team needs just the slightest tweaking and we will be epic. Jesus Christ how much better would we be if we could just sort out our back line, silver lining is that it kind of goes to show how close this comp is . Replace the two weak links , one with the benchy and one with Val and we go from worst to genuine premiership contender

9. Turps
6. Milf
7. Dearden
5. Isaako/Farnsworth/Coates
4. Bird
3. Staggs
2. Oates
1. Holmes

All of a sudden that is looking well dope. Means Bird Milf and Holmes would be the leaders, they’re young but sometimes leaders are young - a young leader can’t be expected to lead when your captain has ‘done it all’, No one would feel comfortable in that situation.

I also think our forwards are suffering from the lack of spark out back. Forwards need to lay a good platform and backs need to execute... if our backs aren’t executing, where is the incentive to lay the platform?
Did you do this in a really weird order just to annoy everyone?

I would love to have Brent Tate as an assistant coach after watching this video.

Possibly even QLD coach eventually.

Take the 2, brah!

Jesse Arthars from the titans, anyone know how he goes?

Looked average whenever I've seen him, but not so sure he would be any better than any of our other younger guts. Very odd signing. Only thing I can think of it's another signing following the pattern of blokes who have worked under Seibs before.

Exactly my thoughts, spry would have been a signing I would be happy with. Seems like seibs is bringing in his followers, instead of replacing the talent he's let go.

I can understand the idea. I’m starting to feel like Siebs is taking the bold steps he was signed to do now.

I quite like what I saw from Kennedy on the weekend.

I’ve seen him, I think he’s great. Can play fullback, centre or wing.

Not saying he won't be good but spry would have been a great scalp to get.

Do we know he wanted to come here though..? I'm sure, if he is a good as folk on here are saying, then its hard to see Titans being at all receptive to us or anyone else approaching him...

That being said, Arthurs is the type of signing we need to start making more often...frankly he already probably represents a better option at fullback then our captain and miles better than Shibs....isn't that a upgrade..???...isn't that a sensible signing..???

Yes to me on both...

He wanted to come here to be coached by Seibold, which is a good sign.

He’s a cheap buy with huge potential. Love the signing.

Have you ever seen him play??

Spry signed a two year deal this year after coming home to live in Ipswich and trialling with the Titans. He impressed them and worked hard and has had a good year in ISC. He will impress again tonight and won't be far away from NRL debut.

I am really happy with the Jesse Arthars signing.
He is a quality back who can play anywhere in the back 5.
Predominately a left edge specialist but can slot in anywhere.
Has some first grade experience.
And we signed him for peanuts and will be really solid player in the squad.

I don't get how people on here can bag young players that they've never seen play, yet cry when we dont sign lesser known players with no first grade experience hahahaha
