I'm not a big fan of him, but Josh Reynolds has been given freedom to talk to other clubs for 2020 onwards, would anyone be interested for a bit of experience in our young side? I personally think 7. Dearden 6. O'Sullivan but worth a thought.

As a depth / utility /back up hooker option, yes absolutely. On minimum wage though, so that rules him out.

Would take Taylor over Reynolds no question
The grub wouldn’t be a good fit with our mob and Ash appears a bit fragile. Maybe spent too much time with Hayne and some of the bad bits rubbed off.

I like his energy but that is about all he would add to the team. Not a game manager, kicking game is average for a half, passing is nothing special and running game is ok. If we were looking for that type of player in the halves, we could always put bird at 6 who i think exceeds him in most of those areas bar kicking.

I think he got thrown in the deep end and showed promise, then got caught up in his own hype. He needed a Scott prince or cronk next to him, some guidance.
Now I think he needs to move on and start again.

He came thru our system with a goal of playing nrl with the Broncs. Wayne correctly at the time chose Ben Hunt but let him reach his goal with a game for us at Lang Park before he left for the Tits. Unfortunately he damaged his finger and didn’t last too long. He’s young enough for another go. Just not with us.

Yeah, he got thrown the keys to the car but noone had taught him how to drive.

Maybe we should do a Tigers and offload Bird now. The coin he is on is just unjustifiable for the matches played. Re-sign the guys that are having a 'go' like Oates and Turpin and possibly lure an established half to the fold. Ipswich born, Clive Churchill winning Luke Keary perhaps?

He would be ideal but with Cronk retiring I cannot see the roosters letting him go.

So guys like Bird.

8 to 9 games a year for 1M, what's stopping Mr Glass from breaking something in the first 8 rounds of 2020? Far from a match winner in his 17 appearances, send him home and retain Queenslanders.

If Bird gets a Serious injury again I would agree we need to offload him, History of Injuries have to be taken into account when looking at players, but what he showed this year in the games he played shows at least to me he has more effort in his game then anyone else in the team.

If he can get a full season under his belt next year he will be playing for Australia he is one of the best centers in the game when on form, the money is very steep for a centre though which I don't think he was originally signed for.
