Maloney is signed next year and will be 34 next year. So at worst it's a one year deal and at best, Penrith chip in a significant amount and I don't see why they wouldn't. They're all in on Cleary and probably think Maloney holds him back from taking control of the team. I don't think we lose anyone over a 1 year contract. We should have a ton of cap space.

Nod and it's the perfect time to bring in someone like Arrow who is really starting to kick on in their career to the side, rather then leave it a season or two late and regret it.

But we have haas instead, I know which one I prefer. We signed up haas on good money and that's why we let arrow go , plus we had wraps on carrigan. Tino was another one who got left out for Fifita and sua , and is also expected to be a gun. That's how it goes I guess, you can also use boyd and Walker as a similar situation, we chose paix and dearden but who knows how it will work out.

Haas had nothing to do with letting Arrow go ... we let him walk well before even thinking about that sort of deal for Haas

he wasn't on a deal sizable enough to cost us Arrow.

the club rated Carrigan, which is why they weren't getting into a bidding war with the Titans for Arrow, (who offered him overs at the time).

As good as Arrow is, the jury is still out on that decision.
