Just to give you an idea about the Mole who earlier today reported Brown is safe for this year with the knights, well, it looks like he and the knights are parting ways at seasons end..

Read the mole with 100% caution.
lol

What’s Jordan Riki’s projected timeline? Doing anything of note?

Havent really followed him that much if i'm perfectly honest. I think @Big Pete or @1910 would have a better take on him probably.

I like him as an edge runner, but he is a middle forward no doubt.
Yeah you're right he has some pace and quick feet but I think you need more to be on the edges . But you never know.

Well he technically is. He isn't required next year.

Riki played in the centres on the weekend. Got through the entire 80 and proved a real handful on the right edge for the Cutters. Although it was off his mistake, I was impressed with his turn of speed with his chase on Bobbert.

Smith has been very delicate with his Queensland Cup development. If he had have come through a couple of years ago, he'd be a stand out player in the 20s. In Q Cup, he's being used sparingly and given a fairly simple role. He rarely goes outside of those parametres and doesn't show the same initiative as Bullemor, but that stint in the centres last week may have been a sign of things to come. He did score his first QCup try the week before and followed it up with another on the weekend, sometimes it's something as simple as that.

"The Knights' finals hopes may be on life support after a great start to this season, but Nathan Brown's job is still safe for next year.
Brown is on a year-to-year contract with the Knights and under intense pressure to perform with a talented roster.
Word from inside the Knights camp is that Brown is safe, despite the recent run of outs that finally ended with the big win over the Cowboys last Saturday."

"Head Coach Nathan Brown’s tenure at the helm of the nib Newcastle Knights will come to a close at the end of the 2019 National Rugby League season."
- Newcastle Knights (20 Aug 2019, 03:41 PM)

He will have plenty of time to get re aquainted with his little head next year it seems.

Anyone else wonder if player managers are toying with the media, saying X club is offering This Bronco X dollars, so that the club has to pay big dollars to keep them? There's just no way even the Warriors would offer Fifita $1m a season, unless it's a staggered $500k/$750k/$1m 3-year deal and they're just quoting the highest figure for the Outrage.

Brown just looks like a head butcher or a truckkie at best looks wise. He always seem to talk carelessly & out of context. Of all the 16 head coaches out there, he & Draqueens coach doesn’t look like professional coaches at all for mine.

Note: I am not picking on baldies😄.

It’s funny because since he roasted Wayne he started to look like Wayne’s little head more and more each week.

I have nothing against Brown, he clearly recruited well, far better than our mob has in recent times frankly, but he just doesn't have it in him to win a premiership. Not enough footy finesse and no charisma to fire the team up

I don't rate Newcastle at all.... But why sack him when there are no better options? Absolute panic move by the club...
