I thought Reed showed good speed chasing down Goodwin from across field. In fact, when it happened, I couldn't believe it was Reed.

Mind you, I also couldn't believe at least 3 Broncos strolling around ignoring and creating an open blind side gift for Merritt.

As for Mateo, I think he would be a great asset. Our backrow is great, but Mateo would still offer another dimension. He's a pure attacking weapon with the 2nd best offload in the game. Given we are often in situations where we need to make something happen, Mateo would be a fantastic acquisition.

Locke? Such a talented guy, but also epically disappointing in his career so far. I'd happily take him if it means we don't make the mistake of moving Hoffman back to fullback, but I'm not sold on him. But if he is a package deal with SJ then sure. I'd even take Steve Michaels if he came with SJ

Not too sure how I feel about signing those 3 warriors players, but I do believe we need a new halfback and Johnson might just be that spark in attack that we are lacking, Peter Wallace just isnt living up to expectations and failing in attack, his kicking game is disgraceful. Definitely interested in Barba so am hoping the rumours are true! There has to be a reason Barba isnt playing well for the Doggies, and I think this rumour about him wanting to leave to join the Bronx is right on the money!!! :)

He's unproven at NRL level, and sounds like he'd chew up too much money.

I've said this before, the only guy worth signing on the market is Folau, probably a long shot though with his hillsong setup in Sydney. A genuine blue-chip game breaker that's worth at least one try a game.
