Sounds much more believable.So... could the $1.3 million include an "upgrade" to 2020, meaning that 1.3 is over 3 years?
Lol there’s no way 650k is accurate. 300-350k at the most.
Also, here is a left field proposition I am just throwing out there - anyone for Kasiano on a short, cheap deal? He has looked ok in the Super League and is still only 30 believe it or not.
We need backs, not more forwards
And 2 wingers, another centre, a 6 and 7, another prop, a hooker, a lock and a bench, a new CEO and new board members, a new club logo, a new medical team and an entirely new rugby league competition that isn’t stuck in 1980 wanting NSW to be on top.I actually think we need:
1x fullback
1x centre
1x spine player
1x experienced prop
2x second-row

How many tackles can you miss per half?**** me $650k a year for Flegler. I'm gonna go and see if the Broncos will give me a run.
If the value of that deal for Flegler is even 50% true we have been done. How do we keep getting stung with this stupid contracts for players who havent even come off the back of a good year?
Liked by Smokin Joe... I think you might be onto somethingSo... could the $1.3 million include an "upgrade" to 2020, meaning that 1.3 is over 3 years?
Exactly however Milford did deserve a contract of his size at the time... probably not as large as 1 million but 800 upwardsExactly! It isn't even just the stupidity of the price but the fact they haven't learned anything from the Milford situation where you can't keep paying on potential, it rewards mediocrity and has the potential, like with Milford, to make youngsters lazy as they think they have already made it when they absolutely haven't.
