I don't believe the club that wasn't willing to give Fifita more than 750 is going to throw 650k at Flegler, he's solid but hardly a star.

Exactly! It isn't even just the stupidity of the price but the fact they haven't learned anything from the Milford situation where you can't keep paying on potential, it rewards mediocrity and has the potential, like with Milford, to make youngsters lazy as they think they have already made it when they absolutely haven't.

It isn't even just the stupidity of the price but the fact they haven't learned anything from the Milford situation where you can't keep paying on potential, it rewards mediocrity and has the potential, like with Milford, to make youngsters lazy as they think they have already made it when they absolutely haven't.

Exactly however Milford did deserve a contract of his size at the time... probably not as large as 1 million but 800 upwards

The only thing rewarding about this signing is that he has stated that he wants to remain loyal... would much rather be throwing money and investing in players that want to stay here and be here long time instead of the fifitas who chase the money
