Where's your Intel from for the first sentence? Or are you just assuming?
It’s just sort of something I have assumed/ picked up the feeling he just never seems to quite fit in as a group whole. You see boys in social media hanging out together and posting stuff and very rarely is Herbie ever in it or with them. I might be over thinking it a bit, but I have just felt for a while now that he maybe just doesn’t fit in as well as he wants. Could just be a more quiet more privately reserved person on social media and just in general though but he seems to exude arrogance so I doubt that.

Edit: Was referring to Tom and Xavier who left.

I don’t get arrogance from Farnworth at all and I’d be surprised if anyone else did either.

Indeed, I get the exact opposite. He seems hardworking and humble. He has also moved himself halfway around the world, in his teens and away from his immediate family, to pursue his dream of playing for the Broncos.

I could be wrong, but I think you’re way off the mark.

Just cause your hardworking doesn’t make you humble. I think you would find most professional sports players especially young ones exude serious arrogance just when compared to each other it doesn’t come across as that. But if you seriously think those blokes don’t stand there thinking they are better than not only each other but every other person that has nothing to do with NRL than your kidding yourself. They are raking in hundreds of thousands of dollars and being idolised everywhere they walk takes one HUMBLE man to not get arrogant and complacent with the life they are living. Especially young blokes who haven’t quite matured yet. I reckon most of us would, we can’t even stop ourselves from getting cocky and arrogant when we win an argument on this forum.

In all fairness to Herbie he came across from England so chances are he wasn’t told he was great every corner he turned over there cause Soccer (/Football) is the priority in there culture. The point wasn’t that Herbie is arrogant in comparison to the rest of the team this is social media we are talking about and at the end of the day he is slightly more arrogant and has slightly more attention on him than the average Joe who is just followed by there friends and family. The average Joe at his age is still working their way out of their parents house and struggling with insecurities, university and entering the REAL WORLD.

My point was chances are he would be willing to post his encounters with his teammates like he does with his mate Ed Burns (Wynumn winger former broncos nyc) and what he used to do with Xavier and Tom is all I’m saying. I could be wrong about not having heaps of friends (Disclaimer: I’m sure he is still liked and gets along as acquaintances in a mates like matter but reality is he leaves that building and he doesn’t seem to interact as much) but to think for a second the lot of them aren’t arrogant is just silly. I don’t have anything against them for it, was just to back my point that chances are he is a bit of a social media man and not a private guy.

From what I've made out online he's more of an indoor computer gaming kid than an outdoors Guy😄

My perception is that he is both hardworking and humble, not that he is one because of the other.

Despite what you’ve said, I still don’t believe he is an arrogant person. He is certainly no Reece Walsh, I do know that much.

This is the problem with social media and the modern game - we're discussing how many friends a player has?

Good lord. Take me back to the days when we didn't have every player under the sun posting staged photos on Instagram for some internet karma from desperate 'fans' who probably don't even watch the match each week, or trying to sell me a fkn Mazda BT-50.

I remember when sport was sport. Now it's all like fucking Hollywood and the entertainment industry. It's here to stay and I don't like it one bit.

As an fellow Introvert, if they don't mingle on socials or get tagged - who actually cares? Why is this remotely a measure of 'success' or 'being accepted'.

So long as he's happy in his own bubble, its really his own business.

If your going based off Instagram he posted 3 photos last year and the boys commented on it and he does likewise to the other boys pictures.
I know he's real good mates with Kobe, plays games online with Patty, Riki, Kobe, Issako (going by youtube)
I think it's more of a case he keeps his private life private as basically all of his photos from the past 3 years are footy photos.
For all we know he could be saving all his money and doing extras to keep improving his game instead of eating out at different cafes everyday and getting on the piss.
So bit of a stretch saying he doesn't fit in.. wouldn't you want a player who's clearly not dickhead all over the internet?

Fitzy, one of the easiest words to use should be 'your'. You're an adult now but you're still getting it wrong!
It seems like it's an embedded mistake because you get so much else, harder stuff 100% right.
Make an effort! It's just as easy to spell a word correctly than it is to butcher one.

Just look at your first sentence. Cause instead of because your instead of you're. So simple to get right. You enjoy thinking you're right about much (as do I) but here's something you're frequently wrong about and is easily remedied.

Yeah this, I couldn't be more polite or friendly, but work is work, and I don't give a single **** to socialise with anyone at work, in particular outside of work, **** that. I keep a clear line between work time and personal time. I'm self employed these days but if I was in another life a footy player I wouldn't participate in any of the social media shit.

It’s not about entertainment at all go fucken read the context. As a matter of a fact a lot of you should, the point was why would he stick around here for less if it seems like he hasn’t quite fit in when he can either go home for more money or go to a new environment and be a star signing for yet again more money.

Get over YOURself mate I wrote a couple 100 words to get a point across and you feel the need to analyse my writing instead of what I said. Might take that into consideration next time before taking time out of my day to write on a forum to you.

The Jordan Riki one looks like he got the box out of a bin
