Why should we?
Those things are very important and they are his best attributes, and they lift the players around him.

Because when talking about a #6, personally I'd like them to offer a bit more than screaming in the face of opposition when they make a mistake. Gamble is below average defensively, his ball playing is that of an mid level lock, and has an average kicking game. I like that the guy tries hard, but I'd rather someone with talent.

Fifita should be a poster boy for all these players who take the cash early on in their careers. Always seems to be young broncos players who get these deals. He is one of dozens of examples where it's went pear shape. In fact, for every one success story I could easily name 10 failures and people who have earnt far, far, far less over the entirety of their careers then they would have if they stayed.

Last contract he wasnt keen on heading to Sydney... he knocked back $1m from Bennett to go to Souths specifically because of that.

I think the titans money has allowed him to buy his folks a house, but if he went to Sydney / Melbourne I dont think they would be able to follow him down there.... especially at a reduced wage.

I think he'll end up at dolphins, but we could be a smokey at that price point as well.

Fifita is mainly a strike weapon so a decision could be between him or Staggs being the strike on that edge.... would you prefer Fifita on $700k or Staggs on $650k.

I’d trade Staggs for Fifita instantly if given the choice. Fifita is still the best attacking 2rf in the comp even when he’s being hobbled in a shit side, his defence is also decent. I also think he genuinely liked playing at the broncos and played his best footy with us.

I wouldn't be letting Gamble go without organizing someone in return. Adam Clune wouldn't be a terrible backup half if they don't want to get rid of Clifford or if he doesn't want to earn a spot.

Give me team full of Gambles. They may not win a game but I’d be proud of them knowing they gave it their all every single minute of every game, rather than half the current mob that show up for a handful of games a season and are paid double or triple for their ‘efforts’
